**Brief Job Description**:
Thermal Engineer:
- The Thermal Engineer supports new product development and CFD analysis.
It acts as a technical referent for New Product Development team and Product management.
The Thermal Engineer provides direct daily support to engineering groups by focusing on Thermal design, Testing and simulation.
**Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each**:
- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds.
- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues with aid from the simulations.
- Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
- Collaborates with other groups, including Electrical, Mechanical, Control engineers, System test, customer support, and manufacturing.
**Qualifications**:
**Required/ Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Thermal, Mechanical,



Aerospace, Heat power Engineering or equivalent.
**Additional / Preferred Qualifications**:
- Comfortable in working with Creo preferred or any other CAD software.
- 5 + Years of engineering on DX and CW Refrigeration system development/Design.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Refrigeration system.
- Working proficiency of mechanical and Thermal design concepts.
- Experience with thermal Design software such as Refprop, Colidesinger or equivalent analysis package desired.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional General Development Teams.
- Fluency in English
