OverviewWe are seeking a Cybersecurity System Administrator who will serve as a key contributor to NOV's cybersecurity operations.
This role is responsible for administering core security applications, supporting secure system configurations, enforcing policy controls, and helping identify and remediate threats across our global hybrid environment.You will collaborate with infrastructure, endpoint, and cloud teams to drive consistent protection across IT and OT environments.

Come and join a great team who are driving tomorrow's cybersecurity.What You'll DoSecurity Tool Administration: Operate, maintain, and tune enterprise security tools such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), vulnerability management platforms, encryption systems, and policy enforcement agentsConfiguration Management: Review, recommend, and manage software component changes and system configurations to meet security requirementsVulnerability Remediation: Stay informed of security features and vulnerabilities in supported products and apply necessary updates or protectionsIssue Resolution: Investigate and resolve security misconfigurations or alerts in the security stackAutomation & Scripting: Use scripting (e.G., PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks such as policy deployments, log parsing, or report generationDocumentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, standard operating procedures, and deployment runbooksDeployment Projects:



Assist in deploying and testing new security solutions, including pilot evaluations, change control coordination, and phased rolloutSecurity Reporting: Deliver metrics on tool coverage, policy compliance, and remediation status.
Identify trends that inform programmatic improvementsCross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with IT, OT, and cloud architects to ensure security controls are embedded into new solutions and business initiativesTechnical Support: Provide technical support to customers for supported systemsOther duties as assigned by organization leadershipWhat You BringPossess strong communications and interpersonal skills in EnglishSelf-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a large enterprise environmentHands-on experience with one or more of the following: SentinelOne, Zscaler, Intune, DLP or similar productsAbility to write and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Python, or similarSolid understanding of cybersecurity concepts including least privilege, segmentation, malware defense, encryption, and loggingComfortable interpreting security policies and translating them into technical enforcementPreferred QualificationsCertifications: Okta, CompTIA Security+, or similarUnderstanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologiesFamiliarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO *****, CIS Controls, or SOXExperience working in Active Directory and/or Azure AD environmentsSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesOil and Gas#J-*****-Ljbffr
