Main Duties & Responsibilities Position Summary Responsible for leading the Tool Room operations, including mold maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and newmold construction to support production, new product development, andcontinuous improvement initiatives across the Americas sites.
This role ensurestooling reliability, equipment availability, cost control, and technicalexcellence across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities Leadthe Tool Room team, including technicians and toolmakers.
Managepreventive and corrective maintenance activities for injection molds andtooling.
Coordinatethe design, construction, testing, and validation of new molds and pilotmolds.
Leadmold construction and maintenance activities supporting manufacturingsites across the Americas region.
Supportnew product development projects by ensuring tooling readiness andtechnical feasibility.
Developand implement tooling improvement plans to increase productivity, quality,and mold life.
Monitortooling performance indicators, downtime, repair costs, and maintenanceefficiency.




Coordinateexternal suppliers and contractors related to tooling fabrication andrefurbishment.
Ensurecompliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Manage Tool Room budget, tooling investments, and spare parts inventory.
Providetechnical support to production, engineering, quality, and maintenanceteams.
Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing andproblem-solving methodologies.
Supporttroubleshooting activities for molding process and tooling issues.
Qualifications Strongexperience in injection molds maintenance and mold construction.
Experiencemanaging Tool Room operations in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeof CNC machining, EDM, tooling design, and injection molding processes.
Leadershipand people management skills.
Stronganalytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Advancedcommunication and project management skills.
Preferred Experience Packaging,cosmetics, or consumer goods industry experience.
Experiencewith multi-cavity and high-volume production molds.
