Senior Manufacturing Technician at Hitachi Energy, located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
This full‐time, onsite role supports advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting engineering challenges, and collaboration with cross‐functional teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical expertise and support for engineering projects and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple engineering disciplines.
Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, procedures, manuals, and reports.
Collaborate with engineers and cross‐functional teams to implement innovative solutions.
Support the design, testing, and development of new technologies and processes.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and engineering software to improve efficiency.
Assist with technical equipment procurement, inventory management, and resource planning.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
Associate degree,



advanced technical diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering field.
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience as an Engineering Technician or related technical role.
Demonstrated expertise in a specialized technical area such as automation, mechatronics, power systems, embedded systems, or data acquisition.
Experience using diagnostic equipment, measurement instruments, CAD tools, simulation software, or other relevant technical applications.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‐technical teams.
