For more than 40 years, we've been leaders in innovating 5G, private networks and Gigabit speeds everywhere - we're always anticipating what's next.Developments such as the Internet of Things, seamless connectivity, Cloud and 5G introduce new requirements and demand creative thinking.CommScope seeks a Software QA Engineer II specializing in design verification testing and automation for our Video Distribution Systems used for efficient and secure content distribution to pay TV customers.The primary duties include:- Test Plan Design: create structured test plans based on feature specs and system requirements.
- Feature, Regression & Integration Testing: manual and automated testing across different stages of development.
- Bug Lifecycle Management using JIRA.
- Test Management using Zephyr Scale for both test case development and execution.
- Automation framework development (building and extending).
- Parametric verification (RF, Audio, and Video)- Use vulnerability scanning tool (Nessus/Qualys)Required Qualifications for Consideration- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,



or Software Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years in QA/testing roles, collaborating closely with developers.
- Python: Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Clear and professional English communication (written and verbal).
The following Skills are not mandatory, good to have:- Linux OS: Experience with Linux environments (shell scripting, system-level testing) is a plus.
- IP Networks Fundamentals (Protocols: TCP. UDP, ARP, DHCP, HTTP/S. Diagnostic Tools: ping, traceroute).
- Autolt is a plus.
- Familiar with MPEG-2/4/HEVC and/or DVB Service Information, Content Distribution Network (CDN), Digicipher Streaming, Nessus/Qualys is desire.
