Senior Data Engineer Senior Data Engineer to join a dedicated team evolving a data platform based on Azure.
The role goes beyond pipeline development: design end‐to‐end data solutions, make technology decisions, optimize data processing, and use cloud services to enable new components as needed.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows with Python and SQL.
Model and optimize data in Snowflake for performance and scalability.
Work with Azure Data Lake as part of the data architecture.
Participate in technical decisions related to the data platform architecture.
Configure and enable Azure resources to support new solutions.
Optimize SQL queries, transformation processes, and pipeline performance.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability.
Prepare datasets for analytical consumption and visualization tools such as Power BI.
Requirements At least 4 years as Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer.
Experience building data solutions in Azure.
Hands‐on experience with Azure Data Factory.
Professional experience with Snowflake in production environments.
Strong SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, query optimization, modeling).
Practical Python experience applied to data engineering.
Experience developing cloud‐native ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with Azure Data Lake.
Ability to understand and contribute to data architecture decisions.
Experience working directly with cloud services (not just migrated on‐prem solutions).
Preferred Qualifications Azure Databricks.
Data governance.
Power BI.




Cost optimization in Azure.
Dimensional modeling.
Data warehousing.
Azure Synapse.
Technical leadership or project leadership in data projects.
