**Position Summary**:
The main purpose of this position is to reconcile accounts, validating exemption certificates to maintain the account up to date to avoid charging tax to tax exempt customers. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly reports making sure the accounts meet the requirements needed for tax exemption. Function as assistant of Sales Tax Associate in order to meet deadlines for tax audits for different states in the US. Prioritizing projects for total refreshes in the US as well as PR, HI, and AK. Available to work on Saturdays during some periods of FY in need
**Responsibilities**:
- 20% Validate exemption certificates/meet deadline reports
- 10% Analyze accounts and identify customers. Contact customers requesting exemption certificates
- 15% Add existing customers from CFM to CertCapture




- 30% Assistance in Audits
- 5% Responsible for requesting refunds for customers that were charged tax accidentally
**Skills and Requirements**:
- Level of formal education: A Bachelor’s degree (BA,BS) or equivalent
- Area of study: Accounting, Finance or Business. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Years of experience: two to three years.
- Type of experience:
- Some customer service skills required, and Microsoft excel, Tax Research and writing, proficient in Microsoft office,
- Other/preferred: Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
