**SUMMARY**:
The Global Tender Management Specialist/Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and competitiveness by managing and coordinating integral tender processes in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This individual will ensure that tender submissions align with company objectives, customer requirements, and market dynamics. The role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including sales, pricing, operations, and finance teams, to deliver accurate and compelling proposals.
Will be responsible for supervising all new business analyses, savings initiatives, internal cost analysis, procurement bids, maintenance of billing and invoice audit tools, as well as acting as an escalation point for all pricing topics.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create communication channels between Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Project Management, and Solutions Design teams
- Standardize rates, tariff structures, procedures to create more uniform pricing product for clients
- Establish pricing standards for International Freight (Ocean & Air Freight)
- Lead end to end management of global tenders, RFQ, RFP, RFI in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Lead the global tender management function, including prequalification, bid strategy, document preparation, submission, and post-tender negotiations
- Continuously evaluate and improve the tender and implementation processes, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and success rates
- Work with the Global Director of Pricing and Procurement to achieve departmental goals and complete initiatives overlapping multiple teams
- Analyze tender documents to understand customer requirements and identity key deliverables




- Develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality, competitive, and timely submissions
- Work with pricing and procurement teams to develop cost models and pricing structures tailored to each tender
- Ensure proposals highlight value propositions, differentiators, and innovative solutions that meet customer needs
- Review and validate all pricing inputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines
- Ensure communication and alignment between sales, operations, and legal teams for cohesive tender submissions
- Conduct post-tender reviews to identify improvement areas and share best practices across teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to position proposals effectively in the market
- Monitor industry trends and customer needs to influence tender strategies
- Provide insights and feedback to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement of tender processes
- Maintain a centralized database of tender submissions, performance metrics, and outcomes
- Prepare regular reports on tender success rates, pricing trends, and performance indicators for management review
- Ensure proper alignment with implementation team to administer the successful implementation of awarded business, ensuring that all commitments made during the tender process/negotiations are delivered
- Provide training to multiple internal teams on customer tariff-related topics




- Support to streamline processes to improve efficiency within the Solutions Design and Procurement teams
- Manage tender team
- Support to strengthen the cooperation between Solutions teams
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
This position may have supervisory responsibilities for teams in the US and/or Mexico.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field (Finance/Accounting/Transportation) and 10 years related experience and/or training.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
This position requires the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
