**About the Role**
As a Technical Engineer, you will collaborate closely with architects and designers to create and modify precise shop drawings using CAD software. You’ll ensure that designs meet architectural specifications, building codes, and industry standards while providing technical support on materials, installation methods, and specifications. Your role involves reviewing architectural plans, translating them into detailed shop drawings, and conducting site visits to verify measurements and conditions. Additionally, you will coordinate with project managers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery, maintain compliance with safety and energy efficiency standards, and prepare technical documentation for fabrication and installation.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with architects and designers to create detailed shop drawings for windows and doors using CAD software.
- Ensure that window designs meet architectural specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Develop and modify window and door shop drawings for fabrication and installation, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Provide technical support to design teams, contractors, and clients regarding window and door specifications, materials, and installation methods.
- Review architectural plans and translate them into detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing and installation teams.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess conditions, and ensure that shop drawings reflect presente site requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of shop drawings and resolve any technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines,



and energy efficiency standards in the design and installation of windows and doors.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, including installation guides, material specifications, and maintenance instructions.
- Assist with project management tasks, ensuring that designs and shop drawings align with project timelines and budgets.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Grasshopper, Teknical) for creating detailed architectural and shop drawings.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes related to windows and doors.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and translating them into shop drawings.
- Knowledge of materials science, particularly in glass, metal, and insulation materials used in windows and doors.
- Experience with structural calculations and stress analysis for window and door installations.
- Familiarity with construction methods and installation processes for windows and doors.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, including specifications and installation guides.
- Ability to perform accurate field measurements and site assessments to ensure precise design and fit.
- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving design and technical issues.
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications related to window performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
**Education & Background**
- Degrees in Civil/Industrial Engineering, Architecture or Industrial Design
- Knowledge of architectural shop drawings and technical documentation
- Experience in manufacturing or construction industry
