**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the right hand to our current lead developer, you will play a critical role in driving server-side development and delivering robust backend solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for building scalable and efficient systems in the supply chain industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, test, and maintain backend components and services using Java.
- Design and implement APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for database interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Perform system and load testing to ensure reliability under high usage.
- Work on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support as needed.
- Maintain documentation for technical solutions and processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.




- 6-8 years of experience in backend development with Java.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing stored procedures and PL/SQL.
- Experience with API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
- Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with load testing and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
- Experience in the supply chain or a related industry is an advantage.
