**Job Summary**
The Graphic Designer uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets. The Graphic Designer is responsible for continuing to build the brand image while developing marketing strategies for the sales teams.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop the overall look or style of materials for marketing campaigns based on the brand.
- Respond to queries on the Marketing Helpdesk.
- Communicate project status, timelines and delivery information to management and demonstrate ability to anticipate creative problems and production timeline issues.
- Create advertising campaigns, flyers, and presentations for marketing campaigns.
- Manage and oversee the Customer Relationship Management system, while providing content and materials for its use.
- Lead the creative process related to marketing campaigns and marketing strategy.
- Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use based on brand.
- Follow brand standards and compliance.
- Check for NMLS and brand compliance.
- Maintain HTML changes, and web and social media design.
- Assist in company-wide projects to help maintain brand equity.
- Remain current in design trends, styles and technological advances in various media.
- Organize and/or assist with events for sales teams, providing event promotion and day-of materials.




- Conduct market research to find solutions for consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
- Gain a deep understanding of Alterra Home Loans and Founder's vision, values, responsibilities and priorities.
- Able to comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Three (3) years prior graphic design experience or something similar is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar preferred.
- Link to Portfolio preferred to be considered for position.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
- Familiarity with website editors, such as WordPress and Squarespace.
- Willingness to step outside the comfort zone and work on new tasks.
- Ability to deliver effective results.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Timely communication and response times according to department standards.
