We are looking for Test Development Engineer (Boundary Scan):
**General activities**:
The **Test Development Engineer - Boundary Scan** is responsible for designing and implementing test strategies using **JTAG/Boundary Scan** to verify the integrity and functionality of PCBs in production. This role collaborates closely with design and manufacturing teams to ensure that electronic products meet quality and testability standards.
- Implement and develop **Boundary Scan (JTAG)**-based test strategies for PCB validation.
- Design and program test sequences using tools such as **JTAG Technologies, XJTAG, or Tessent (Siemens EDA)**.
- Perform diagnostics and debug faults in digital circuits using **JTAG, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers**.
- Integrate **Boundary Scan** tests into **In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Test (FCT) systems**.
- Coordinate with **hardware and manufacturing teams** to ensure testability from the design stage.
- Create and maintain technical documentation on **JTAG/Boundary Scan** strategies and coverage.
- Analyze test metrics and optimize processes to improve **manufacturing efficiency**.




- Implement **debugging and fault isolation** strategies to reduce diagnosis time in production.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize **Boundary Scan** coverage in new hardware versions.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure PCBs meet **DFT (Design for Testability)** requirements.
**Requirements**:
- **3-5 years** of experience in **Boundary Scan (JTAG)** for hardware validation.
- Proficiency in tools such as **JTAG Technologies, XJTAG, or Tessent (Siemens EDA).**:
- Knowledge of **Boundary Scan Description Language (BSDL).**:
- Integration of **JTAG in ICT and Functional Test.**:
- **Debugging and failure analysis** of PCBs using **oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.**
**Desirable Technical Skills**:
- Programming in **Python, C, or LabVIEW** for test automation.
- **DFT (Design for Testability)** in digital hardware.
- **Signal analysis and power integrity** in PCBs.
- **Advanced English**
