**Job Summary**:
**Location**:The Engineer II position will be on-site based out of RailPros' Monterrey office.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- ** CAD Design**:Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for rail infrastructure and other related components.
- ** Technical Support**:Collaborate with rail engineers in Mexico and the U.S. to provide technical support in the development of rail projects, ensuring design meets quality and client standards.
- ** Data Analysis**:Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects.
- ** Collaboration**:Work closely with multi discipline teams, including engineers and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with design requirements.
- ** Quality Assurance**:Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure plans are technically compliant and meet client standards.




**Additional Duties**:Execute other tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Civil3D) is required.
- MicroStation, InRail ad OpenRail experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of **rail industry** regulations, codes, and standards.
- Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- ** Advanced English level** - written and spoken.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues.
**Required Education and Experience**:
- ** Bachelor’s degree** in **engineering** from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- ** 2-3 years'** of prior **rail** experience required.
**Preferred Education and Experience**:
- Civil Engineer with Cedula Cualificado
