**What you will do**:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of trade compliance programs in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. and EU export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations.
- Act as the primary contact for trade compliance issues, providing guidance to team members and management.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance activities to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs related to trade compliance for various departments.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance for import and export activities.
- Monitor changes in trade legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on trade compliance status and initiatives.
**What we look for**:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade Compliance, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and EU export controls and customs regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trade compliance software is a plus.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Certification in trade compliance or related field (e.g., CUSECO, CES).
- Experience working in a multinational organization.
