As a Cloud Consultant you will help businesses transition to, optimize, and manage cloud computing solutions. Their role involves supporting clients as they transition to cloud solutions, implementing solutions, and ensuring security and scalability. You will also provide best in class service to our customers.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Operations Monitoring (on premise to cloud solutions) including ticket management and services now activities.
- Performing system health checks and ensuring backups are successful along with any restoration requests (BRMS).
- Managing enquiry messages, configure alerts and setup Halcyon Rules.
- Managing ASP related issues like drastic and consistent spikes across all AS400 servers while coordinating with Hosting Partner for customer related issues.
- Documentation (SOH draft, templates creation, flow charts etc).
- Performing Application Environments Data Refresh (Using Save restores and Tape restores).
- Assisting project leads in any new operational projects i.e. (OS upgrades, Wintel upgrades, QEDD to HASAN migration, BRMS to Flash copy migration etc).
- Handling SQL installations, Enterprise connectors installation.
- Patch management of ERP Apps like ERP LX, XA & S21 and its components like Workspace, WebTop, IDF (System Link, Net Link, Power Link and Link Manager).
- Handling disaster recovery activities (partial, full, enhanced disaster recovery.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working on BRMS with HALYCON tools including monitoring and administration.
- Experience working on AS400 including disaster recovery (role swap) and operations including OSV7R1,



V7R2-V7R4 and monitoring tools.
- Experience working with ERP XA, LX and S21 products.
- Proficiency in English to be able to provide phone support.
- Experience working with job schedulers (IBM Native or Robot).
- Experience working with ITHEON monitoring tool, replication software, QEDD and HASAN.
- Disaster recovery experience with ERP software running on AS400.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Infor OS setup and integrations.
- Experience working in a roll providing backup and restores.
- Experience with journal management with AS400 concepts.
- Experience working with vendors on maintenance windows through ticketing portals.
