**Position Summary**
Responsible for production support related to product malfunctions and defective raw materials in the assigned value chain. Responsible for monitoring department indicators and generating corrective actions for customer and internal issues. Compliance with quality management system requirements.
**Responsibilities**
- Control, monitor and improve the product release inspection mechanisms of the assigned division's value chains
- Monitoring and appropriate measurement of the assigned department indicators




- Generation of an action plan for out-of-target metrics, as well as corrective actions for problems reported by the client
- Compliance with the assigned quality management system processes
- Control and reporting of raw material defects with buyers
- Analysis of PPAPs from third-party vendors
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects (Kaizens, Transfers, etc.)
- Reject or approve material based on its compliance
- Perform process audits
- Stop processes in case of deviation that compromises product quality and/or personnel safety
- Approve/reject requests for deviations to the management system and corrective actions
**Qualifications**

- Bachelor´s Engineering (IMA, IME, IIA)
- +3 years of experience in quality assurance in the metalworking industry with a focus on suppliers
- +1 to 3 year(s) of experience in design or manufacturing engineering
- Review of engineering and manufacturing specifications
- Understanding and interpreting manufacturing audits
- Knowledge of GD&T;
- Business English
