**Website QA Specialist (Part-Time, Remote)**
We’re looking for a detail-obsessed **Website QA Specialist** to join our fully remote, fast-paced digital marketing agency. **About the Position**
This is a part-time freelance role (minimum 80 hours/month) supporting our development team by testing and reviewing the following:
- Website changes and updates before they go live
- End to end website testing before new sites are launched
You’ll be responsible for identifying UI and UX issues, logging bugs, and ensuring that the final product meets quality standards across browsers and devices.
This is a contractor position open to integral applicants, but work must be completed during **U.S. business hours (EST).** While the baseline is 20 hours per week, flexibility is important. For example, you may be asked to work more hours during a site launch week and fewer the next week.
**Responsibilities**
- Test websites at the user interface level across browsers and devices
- Identify and document bugs, layout issues, and inconsistencies
- Use **BugHerd** to log issues and communicate with the development team
- Validate that design, functionality, and responsiveness match approved specs
- Perform quality checks on staging environments and understand basic code branching
- Provide clear, concise documentation and feedback in written English
- Communicate effectively with the Head of Development and broader team
- Ensure that all QA is completed before sites or features go live

- You have at least 2 years of experience in a QA or web testing role




- You are highly detail-oriented and love finding (and documenting!) issues
- You have working knowledge of **WordPress** websites
- You’re open to learning about **Next.js** or **headless frameworks**, or already have experience
- You’re familiar with QA tools like **BugHerd** and basic project management software
- You have strong written English skills and can participate in English-language meetings
- You’ve worked in a remote team setting and thrive in a collaborative, asynchronous environment
- You take ownership of your work and are excited to grow with a team

**Working Hours & Pay**
- Guaranteed **minimum of 80 hours/month**, with the opportunity for additional hours
