We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled **Lead Backend Engineer** with proficiency in Golang and Node.js to join our team.
In this position, you will focus on backend development, driving the growth and refinement of the solution architecture. This role is pivotal in empowering the team to take full ownership of the system while ensuring delivery of high-quality, end-to-end solutions.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop highly scalable and efficient backend systems for the Web Console
- Design services and APIs with Go and Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen system architecture and uphold best practices
- Optimize backend services for performance and reliability to support platform growth
- Utilize GCP data solutions, such as BigQuery and Data Flows, for large-scale data processing
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Terraform
- Maintain system observability and monitoring using Datadog
- Improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability through team discussions
- Enhance and refine ownership over system components
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of software development experience with backend technologies
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Go
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions like BigQuery and Data Flows
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub and Terraform
- Background in system monitoring and observability tools like Datadog
- Understanding of solution architecture principles and microservices design
- Competency in solving complex problems with a proactive mindset
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Google Cloud BigQuery and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and API documentation standards
- Flexibility to optimize Datadog for monitoring system performance
