The Staff Accountant will play an integral role within the controllership function. The position will be a leader in close process for multiple locations and will be involved with preparation of financial statements.
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Bilingual (english - spanish)
- Established analytical skills with ability to communicate findings to team
- Experience with General Ledger/fixed asset or ERP Systems such as BPCS
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for decision-making
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- **In this role, you will**:_
- Assist with the month-end closing process including journal entry preparation for multiple locations




- Assist junior level plant accounting personnel with identifying proper general ledger accounts for non-routine transactions
- Elimination/reconciliation of intercompany activity and balances
- General ledger accounting including month-end reconciliations and account analysis
- Track capital spending
- Perform ad-hoc analysis
- Preparation of cash flows
- Assist in coordination of deliverables to external auditors
- Work with cross function leaders and provide applicable support when requested
- Maintain records in accordance with company policy
- Other duties as assigned.
