**Position Summary**:
Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the design, development, and supervision of multidisciplinary projects in the energy and food & beverage sectors. This position will lead basic and detailed engineering activities, process analysis, simulations, and on-site supervision, ensuring full compliance with national and international standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and develop basic and detailed engineering for industrial plants.
- Design and calculate mechanical equipment and piping systems according to ASME, API, and NOM standards.
- Perform process simulations and hydraulic calculations using specialized software (Hysys, AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom).
- Prepare technical-descriptive reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;).




- Supervise hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, coordinate regulatory inspections, and ensure compliance with technical certifications.
- Manage technical evaluation of suppliers and procurement of critical equipment such as heat exchangers, tanks, valves, piping, insulation, and coating systems.
- Support cost and time estimations and develop technical-economic proposals.
- Participate in national and international projects, ensuring alignment with integral engineering standards.
- Provide on-site technical support to resolve construction and operational issues.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in process engineering and industrial project execution.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and NOM standards.
- Up-to-date certifications and training in pressure vessel design, storage tank fabrication, project management, and process simulation.
- Technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability to travel and work on-site as required.
