Tasks & Responsibilities- Manage and monitor purchase orders for production materials from Fronius HQ (Austria).- Maintain optimal inventory levels (ROP, EOQ) based on demand forecasts and consumption trends.- Place special or project-specific orders as needed.- Coordinate logistics, shipping, and lead times with suppliers and HQ.- Ensure material availability and resolve supply issues.- Handle slow-moving or obsolete inventory with proactive strategies.- Create and maintain part numbers and pricing in the ERP system.- Process and validate purchase orders, invoices, credit notes, and returns in BaaN.- Oversee fixed asset purchases outside the standard workflow.- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;)
process and align demand with supply.- Maintain procurement procedures and ensure policy/audit compliance.- Identify process improvements and support KPI tracking/reporting.- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong communication with HQ and suppliers.- Track international shipments and manage customs clearance.
Skills & Requirements- Bachelor’s Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related fields- 1 - 3 years of experience in direct material procurement, supply chain, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.- Advanced English required (spoken and written)- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably BaaN)- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)- Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory optimization- Familiarity with invoice matching, purchasing workflows, and logistics coordination- Understanding of Incoterms and international trade processes is a plus
