We’re looking for a skilled Paralegal specializing in US immigration law to join our team! If you’re detail-oriented, fluent in English (C1 level or higher) and Spanish, and have a passion for immigration law, we’d love to hear from you. ✨
**What You’ll Do**:
- Draft and prepare immigration-related legal documents, including visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, and motions.
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for immigration cases. ️✔️
- Prepare and review immigration forms for visas and other processes. ✍️
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to immigration cases.
- Track visa deadlines and case progress, keeping attorneys informed.
**Requirements**:
- Has at least two years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk.
- Holds a law degree (or equivalent) from their home country.
- At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm. ️




- Is proficient in legal software like Clio or MyCase (preferred).
- Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, both spoken and written. ️
- Can work independently on multiple projects with mínimal supervision.
- Familiarity with immigration-specific databases and software.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types, and forms (family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based immigration).
- Permanently resides in Latin America.
- Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection.
