**Position Overview**
At the moment, we are in search of a Logistics Associate to join our team and play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of our logistics processes within the dynamic cannabis industry. You will be responsible for scheduling shipments, communicating with brokers, and ensuring accurate information exchange between internal and external stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a rapidly evolving field while contributing to the success of our global start-up.
This is a** full time role**(40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, weekends are off).
It includes **US holidays + 13 days of vacation** on a yearly basis(with every year spent with the company, you will receive +1 additional day off).
The working hours for this role are **9 am - 5 pm EST (3 pm - 11pm Serbia time zone).**
**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring all production source materials and finished goods reach their destination properly and on the established schedule
- Resolving carrier or warehouse issues through direct communication with relevant parties
- Ensuring timely clearances and delivery of product to warehouses
- Liaising with Freight Forwarders, brokers, truck drivers, and warehouse managers
- Communicating requirements for shipments as needed
- Escalating matters that need the attention of upper management in a timely manner
- Record keeping and data processing for any statutory logistics-related reporting requirements
**Requirements**:
- Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
- Eagerness to learn Prior experience working as an independent contractor/freelancer will be considered an advantage
For this role, you will need to work on your personal equipment. The technical requirements follow:
- A minimum internet speed of 10 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload internationally.
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
- A 64-bit version of Windows 10 or newer, or macOS 10.11 or newer.
- An Intel Core i5-8260U or other with better/similar performance (Has to be 8th Gen Intel or above, if Ryzen; 2nd Gen or above).
