Join our team as a **Lead Cloud Engineer** responsible for managing and supporting the customer's cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee provisioning, updates, and management of GCP cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code
- Manage GKE node OS upgrades, container OS version libraries, and patch management
- Perform 24x7 monitoring of logs and metrics to detect and resolve performance or availability issues
- Develop operational runbooks and implement automation to prevent recurring incidents
- Manage backup schedules, retention compliance, and support restoration validation
- Support cloud access management, permissions troubleshooting, and governance automation
- Provide architectural guidance to improve system resiliency, performance, and scalability
- Open and manage escalation tickets with GCP to resolve high-priority issues
- Analyze utilization and performance data to support cloud optimization efforts
- Build infrastructure solutions aligned with security, compliance, and change management processes
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform operations with 5+ years in cloud infrastructure management
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance, especially with Terraform
- In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, access controls, and tagging compliance
- Experience managing containerized environments such as GKE and Docker with OS patching
- Proficiency with cloud monitoring tools and troubleshooting performance issues
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery processes in cloud environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage escalations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills




- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
