Project Manager Senior
:
The Integration Project Manager will be part of the Strategic Operations team within the Regal Rexnord (RRX) Automation and Motion Control (AMC) Segment. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Project Management - Strategic Operations for the Linear Motion & Micro Motion divisions. This role will partner with senior functional, regional, and general leaders to ensure critical integration initiatives are transitioned into actionable milestones which are flawlessly executed to achieve long-term objectives. The Integration Project Manager will bring to bear program/project management, change management expertise, and tools/knowledge of continuous improvement to support multiple integration initiatives and related efforts. Successful execution will require critical-thinking, collaboration, coaching / facilitation skills, and the ability to drive engagement and results across the organization. Focus will be on delivering outcomes that enable profitable growth, improve customer experience, and increase associate engagement to deliver sustainable results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
- Partner with senior AMC Segment, Divisional, and Site leadership to ensure critical integration initiatives are transitioned into robust, actionable project plans.
- Partner with project managers and team members across multiple “pitch” sites to ensure that transfer of work (TOW) project plans are flawlessly executed and achieve long-term objectives at the Tijuana, Mexico “catch” site.
- Own project results and communicate progress against targets during daily, weekly,
and monthly report outs; Create and manage a tiered approach for project updates to ensure timely visibility to potential risk.
- Anticipate, identify, and evaluate potential issues / risks that may negatively impact the project schedule, scope, budget, and / or resources; propose mitigation strategies to achieve established objectives.
- Work with Divisional / Functional Leadership to manage / track spend against approved budget, including Capex, restructuring, headcount, etc. for all integration projects transferring work to the Tijuana, Mexico site.
- Partner with Legal SMEs across Divisions to review, understand, highlight, and escalate any legal aspects of TOW that should be considered in the project scope.
- Manage ambiguity and positively adapt to situations as appropriate to drive engagement and results; utilizing RRX Business System tools and templates to solve problems and improve processes.
- Manage initiatives using standard RRX Business System project management tools (Parent A3s, Project A3s, and TTI / KPI Bowlers) while coaching / developing project team members to become authorities at developing and utilizing these standard tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, operations, or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience managing large scale, multi-dimensional, cross-functional,
and complex projects to meet tight deadlines and achieve financial targets.
- Experience managing Transfer of Work (TOW) projects preferred.
- Experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes a plus.
- Experience utilizing Change Management concepts and tools to lead teams through large transition projects; Pro-sci ADKAR certification a plus.
- Experience utilizing continuous improvement / lean leadership tools such as visual management, daily accountability, standard work, Gemba.
- Consistent track record for developing, training, and coaching teams at all levels, that can influence and remove roadblocks to achieve results.
- Effective communicator and solid facilitator including solid written, oral, and presentation-giving skills.
- Hardworking, creative, upbeat, and multidimensional leader who can function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Advanced English-speaking skills required.
- Knowledge of trade / customs, EHS, etc. laws and regulations preferred.
- Knowledge of basic finance required
- Experience with quality systems: e.g., AS9100, ISO9001, ISO13485 or TS16949 a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel required (~30% based on business needs)
