Participate in architecture and design reviews, providing actionable security recommendations for new infrastructure, applications, or system changes
Perform technical risk assessments using frameworks like NIST CSF to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective, compensating, or administrative controls
Review cloud, network, and firewall change requests for potential exposure or policy violations
Research and evaluate emerging security threats, tools, and best practices helping shape NOV’s defensive strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, infrastructure, identity, OT) to embed security into project delivery and daily operations
Other duties as assigned by organization leadership
What You Bring
Possess strong communications and interpersonal skills in English
Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a large enterprise environment
Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or cloud security engineering
Familiarity with identity and access platforms
Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for task automation or data handling
Solid understanding of network security, endpoint hardening, and cloud-native controls
Experience conducting technical risk assessments or design evaluations
