About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a large, enterprise-level financial services organization undergoing a major Snowflake migration initiative. This is a high-visibility transformation project, and they are seeking a senior Snowflake Architect to strengthen their data platform team and drive best-in-class architecture across the migration.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a LATAM-based consultant with deep Snowflake expertise and strong BI integration experience.
The Role
As the Snowflake Architect, you will:
Lead architecture and design for a large-scale migration to Snowflake
Define best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and governance
Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Snowflake environments
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and BI teams
Provide architectural guidance on downstream reporting tools
Act as a subject matter expert across Snowflake capabilities
This is a hands‑on architectural role,
we’re looking for someone who can both design and guide execution.
Required Experience
5-7+ years in data architecture / data engineering
Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and large‑scale migration projects
Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouses in Snowflake
Strong understanding of performance tuning, security, and cost optimization
Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools
Advanced experience with Sigma and Tableau
Experience in financial services, mortgage, lending, banking, or other highly regulated environments preferred
Nice to Have
Experience working with U.S.-based financial institutions
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Background in enterprise data transformation initiatives
