In SSOE Group Mexico we are seeking a
**Electrical Senior Associate in Engineering projects**with more than 8 years of direct experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for commercial facilities such as Hospitals, Malls, Universities, Airports, Retail, Corporate Buildings, industrail warehouse and mixed-use buildings.

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems.
- Perform and review load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software.
- Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements).
- Serve as discipline lead on complex projectsplanning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs.
- Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Support project management and business development activities as needed.
**What You Will Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
- **8 to 12 years (eight to twelve)**of relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large commercial facilities (Hotels, Malls, Schools, vertical buildings, corporate buildings, airports, mixed-use buildings).
- Demonstrated expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and madium and low-voltage systems design.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM coordination tools.
- Familiarity with industry software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, etc.
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes.
- Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
- **Conversational English level (Will report directly to US)**
