Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to lead the accounting function in Mexico, with international exposure and direct impact on financial decision-making in a fast-growing organization.
You will ensure operational excellence and financial integrity:
• Lead full-cycle accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, revenue, tax, assets)
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Analyze and present financial statements and key reports
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with global teams (U.S. and international)
• Optimize systems and tools (SAP, Avalara)
Requisitos Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
• 1–3 years of team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and results-driven mindset
• Professional English proficiency
• CPA (preferred)
