Job Description Product Design Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and release of steering products. Development customer / program specific steering products following design guidelines of Bosch AS where applicable and creating new designs as needed to meet customer requirements. Support design reviews and releases as needed. Responsibilities Product Design Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and release of steering products. Develop technical designs with CAD (2 D & 3 D). Estimate tolerances, capable to create, interpret, apply and check GD&T.; Support Continuous improvements and cost reduction activities. Create BOM (Bill of materials). Administrate engineering changes using tools such as DRBFM and DFMEA. Packaging design. Create and support technical standards/ specifications. Coordination with OEMs and AS Cross-functional Teams. Obtain OEM approval of Bosch AS manufacturing deviations as needed. Comply with TS16949 and other AS policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: BS Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Working Experience: Preferable 1-2 years in similar roles Soft Skills: Creative, proactive, analytic, leadership and good negotiation skills, teamwork and good communication skills.
