Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Supply Chain Program Manager I
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Ensure Regal Rexnord Motion is leveraging domestic spend across several plants within the motion group for their assigned commodity.
Ensure consistency of message with plants that use the same supplier.
Lead negotiations for suppliers that overlap multiple plants in the commodity assigned.
Responsibilities
Determine strategy for the commodity assigned.
Drive PPV and savings goals.
Roll up domestic ABC spend for the commodity assigned.
Communicate strategy and gain buy in for the commodity assigned.
Ensure contractual compliance by preferred suppliers within commodity assigned.
This person will also have plant specific commodity responsibilities.
Relationships
Reports to Supply Chain Manager II.
Interacts with Operations / Manufacturing on materials planning and purchasing issues.
Interacts with Thomson Linear Motion and Regal Rexnord Corporate materials and procurement professionals.
Interacts with other Regal Rexnord sites Material Managers, Buyers, and Engineers.
Interacts with Suppliers to negotiate purchasing agreements.
Measurements
Purchase Price Variance for commodity.
First Pass Yields on new sources of supply.
Number of successful negotiations (LT, PS PT & Price).
Number of Reverse auctions performed (4 per year).
Look for new projects and opportunities to improve our 3PL.
Supplier quality, delivery, price, lead time and responsiveness.
Requirements
Education - Bachelor degree required. Materials Management or other business major preferred. Advanced business degree beneficial.
Experience – Two to Five years overall business experience with at least one year in supply chain management, purchasing, or planning role(s).
Functional Training - Demonstration of continuing education in materials management (to ensure knowledge & understanding of leading edge practices & technology). CPM and/or CPIM certification preferred.
