Job Title: EE Systems Validation Engineer Location:- Auburn Hills, MI

Position Summar
yStellantis is seeking a highly motivated EE Systems Validation Enginee r to be responsible for validating next-generation electrical systems, automotive body controls, infotainment, propulsion, or active safety systems. This role requires extensive use of CAN network testin g protocols and Vector toolchain s to test, troubleshoot, and isolate software/hardware defects across multiple test properties, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, bench setups, and prototype vehicles
.The idóneo candidate will bridge the gap between requirements and execution, acting as a quality gate to ensure robust, production-ready vehicle software
.Key Responsibilitie
s Test Design & Executio n: Develop, update, and execute structure d Design Verification Plans (DVP s) and test procedures based on functional component and system requirement
s.Network & Diagnostic Verificatio n: Conduct deep-dive network validation, monitoring vehicle bus communications utilizin g CAN, CAN FD, and L IN protocol
s.Vector Tool Utilizatio n: Leverag e Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyze r) to log bus traffic, simulate electronic control unit (ECU) nodes vi a CAPL scripti ng, and perform diagnostic trouble code (DTC) analysi
s.Environment Testin g: Perform validation testing across multiple domains: Subsystem Hardware-in-the-Loop (H IL), Vehicle-HIL (VH IL), component test benches, and full production fleet vehicle
s.Root Cause & Issue Managemen t: Track, perform initial triage, and analyze data for software/hardware anomalies. Document issues using internal Stellantis defect tracking systems (e.g., GIMs/PITS/IMS)
and work cross-functionally with feature owners and tier-1 suppliers to drive resolution
s.Continuous Automatio n: Implement automated testing methodologies to increase regression test coverage, validating Firmware Over-The-Air (FO TA) updates and diagnostic complianc
e.Required Skills & Qualificatio
ns Educati on: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related STEM degree fie
ld.Experien ce: Minimum of 2–5 years of working experience in automotive engineering, specifically within software validation, embedded controls, or EE testing environmen
ts.Core Communicatio ns: Solid understanding of automotive networking protocols, particular ly CAN (Controller Area Netwo rk), CAN FD, and automotive diagnosti
cs.Toolchain Experti se: Hands-on proficiency wi th Vector Tools (CANoe, CANalyz er). Experience configuring simulation networks, loading databases (.dbc, .arxml), and capturing/analyzing trac
