The SQA Engineer Specialist will work with the Quality - GT Toluca team, reporting directly to the SQA Supervisor. The position is based at our Toluca Plant office.

Key responsibilities include developing advanced product quality planning, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality control standards and regulations, following corrective actions on process defects and customer complaints, identifying key supplier risks, coordinating analyses with suppliers, maintaining contact regarding quality issues, ensuring supplier quality and compliance, understanding customer requirements and standards (ISO 9001, IATF), and managing environmental objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

- Identify key supplier risks.
- Coordinate analyses with suppliers on quality issues to determine action plans aimed at improving the supplier’s process.
- Maintain direct contact with suppliers regarding quality-related issues.
- Responsible for supplier quality and compliance.
- Understand specific customer requirements, ISO 9001, IATF, etc.
- Understand the environmental objectives, environmental policy, scope, and environmental aspects.
- Identify unsafe acts, conditions,



and/or any impact on the environment.
- Shut down any equipment and/or process that poses an unsafe condition and/or a negative environmental impact.

What Qualifications you will bring:

- Education Level: Industrial Engineering with a focus on production, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Language: English, B2 level.
- Experience: 3 years in the automotive industry, 3 years in a similar position, 2 years in customer service, and 3 years in a similar position in the automotive industry substituting for educational qualifications.

Other skills that we would welcome:

- Management of IATF (16949) and ISO (14001 and 45001) systems.
- Interpretation of plans, calibration, interpretation of specifications.
- Core Tools (AMEF, Control Plan, PPAP, CEP, APQP).
