We are looking for an experienced Embedded C Developer to join a newly formed team building a custom Linux-based operating system that will run on millions of smart-home devices worldwide.

This OS is an independent alternative to Android, designed to provide a stable, high-performance platform and a better experience for application developers.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain a platform framework layer that connects the OS with the application SDK
- Design and implement core system components in C
- Work on app lifecycle management and platform-level services
- Build scalable, stable, and high-performance embedded solutions on Linux
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready software

This role focuses on a middleware/framework layer conceptually similar to the Android Framework layer.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of commercial experience with Embedded C




- Strong experience developing for Linux-based embedded systems
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming
- Knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Work on a large-scale OS running on millions of devices
- Contribute to globally recognized smart-home products
