Summary

Intern PLE will act as the primary point of contact for all plant requests within the product category to ensure seamless production and product excellence. Provide engineering support through active participation in TIER meetings, facilitating FSA/FTP/COPQ processes, and conducting thorough lab analyses and conformance tests.

Key Responsibilities

- Support PLE activities.
- Support technical investigations providing information to sustain engineering changes.
- Participate in the development of special projects designed for inter‑program collaborations.
- Support project activities, including collecting, importing, shipping samples and driving new ones if needed.
- Participate in WX projects, setting up the PLE laboratory and reviewing material.
- Create and update CNs or BoM drawings per request.
- Follow up on the local ISO system for CN implementation.
- Request purchase of equipment, samples, or tools through the local system.




- Maintain the engineering cage and teardown laboratory clean (5S).
- Complete all mandatory training.
- Adhere to safety rules at plant and engineering areas.

Qualifications

- Education: Technician or bachelor’s in an engineering discipline, completed or in progress.
- Languages: Bilingual in Spanish and English; basic conversation and comprehension required.
- Experience: Not required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; basic understanding of CAD, PLM & ERP (preferably CATIA V5, Windchill, and SAP); ability to read drawings (GD&T;); use of measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes; programming aptitude and 4.0 mindset; strong communication skills.
