Responsibilities

Job purpose: Establish and comply with the weekly production schedule to achieve the budgeted production volume within the standards of Safety, Quality, Deliveries, Productivity and Cost; also ensure team members apply the Safety and Hygiene protocols and follow up on unsafe acts or conditions to contribute to the company’s safety culture.

Main responsibilities:





- Is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement related to Security by raising and/or recording incidents in the “ThinkSafe” portal, monitoring these incidents, and maintaining an effective accident prevention system.
- He is responsible for managing the resources of the line: available production time, machines and tooling, raw material and peripheral levels, scheduled maintenance, etc., to organize the productive activities while considering risks that may affect compliance with the scheduled volume.
- Is responsible for issuing the staff shift role for each production line and informing group leaders and stakeholders such as Payroll, Assets, and Quality.
- Is responsible for issuing the weekly report of productive hours, downtime and incidents; authorises leaves, vacations or disabilities of collaborators under his charge and informs the payroll area for application in payroll.
- Is responsible for coordinating with group leaders the practical evaluations of collaborators, reviewing results, updating the skills matrix and reporting information to his immediate boss and Human Resources for category adjustments.
- Is responsible for monitoring work orders and their development within the line, tracking parts levels to identify causes of delays, taking improvement actions, and keeping the WIP report updated.




- Is responsible for notifying the planner of low quantity orders and requesting supplement orders.
- Is responsible for supervising the collection and disposal of waste according to Safety and Quality standards, managing chemical substances, reporting anomalies, and executing corrective actions.
- Is responsible for requesting the intervention of the Maintenance area when machine or equipment failures occur, following up on resolution, and obtaining a status report to ensure safe startup.
- Is responsible for delivering the finished product to Logistics on time to enable timely shipment completion.
- Is responsible for addressing and following up on quality deviations identified during production, and for addressing quality problems to meet objectives.
- Is responsible for training new staff or staff who change areas.
- Participate and coordinate Kaizen events in their areas.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Bachelor's level, Graduate.
- 4 years of verifiable experience in a similar position, leading teams of 30 to 40 people.
- Knowledge of the security rules applicable to the line in your charge.
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
- Intermediate English.
- Interpretation of plans.
- Experience in machines and tools for industrial use.
- Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools.
