We are looking for a professional with a law degree and experience in M&A; and Corporate Law for our office in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

The adecuado candidate will have the following:

- A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in in Merger and Acquisitions or Corporate Law, as a licensed attorney
- Excellent English communication skills (fluency in reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong client service orientation - a "client first" mentality.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients.
- Good communication skills and ability to build a strong working relationship with various stakeholders or clients
- Ability to work well in both a team and individually.
- High sense of urgency

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Advising on the full lifecycle of merger and acquisition transactions, from initial structuring and letter of intent, through due diligence, deal structuring, and closing
- Preparing and reviewing disclosure schedules, tracking diligence materials, and creating and updating supplemental request lists




- Handling contract negotiations and integration and transition service agreements
- Drafting term sheets and other preliminary documentation
- Managing regulatory filings and approvals, closing preparation, and post-closing integration
- Follow up on communication with the client and attend/coordinate work requests.
- Channel complex issues to the Senior Associate and Partner
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Junior Associates and Interns
- Master the applicable legislation and be updated on the changes that impact the matter
- Provide adequate and comprehensive advice to both clients and teammates.
- Provide solutions to possible problems that arise in the operation of the work carried out by Associates Jr. and Interns.
- Review of client/project fees.
- Provide advice to national and foreign clients in all aspects related to the purchase, sale and combination of companies.
- Provide adequate and comprehensive advice to both clients and teammates.
