The Automated Test Engineer will integrate custom designed circuit boards and mechanical fixtures with off-the-shelf test equipment such as digital sampling oscilloscopes, TDR modules and network analyzers and analyze test data using statistical modeling tools and perform root cause analysis of rejected parts.

Direct production test resources to ensure compliant use of deployed test systemsDevelop, integrate, and make software upgrades to test systems used across multiple manufacturing regions including China, India,



Mexico.Maintain documentation for project execution and scheduleCoordinate software development activities with design centers, including product development, manufacturing, signal integrity and quality.Create and deploy software, conduct software reviews, perform system verification and validation, analyze and resolve failure modes and document resultsCreate product and test system documentation, specifications and work instructionsUnderstand, support, and contribute to Molex TQM and Quality / Environmental Management Systems by following approved policies and proceduresOther duties as required by managementWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)B.S. Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Systems/Computer) or B.S. Degree in an equivalent disciplineExperience in test and measurement, can be university lab equipmentWorking knowledge with compiled programming languages such as PythonKnowledge of microcontrollers.Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR modules and/or VNAKnowledge in software development process and/or test system developmentAbility to apply computer programming concepts to solve complex problems in a variety of programming environments.Potential domestic/international travel requirements as needed (20%)What Will Put You AheadM.S.
Degree in Engineer (Electrical/Systems/Computer)2+ years of experience in test and measurement of high-speed productsWorking knowledge of RF/microwave transmission line theory including s-parameters, Fourier transformers, characteristic impedance, eye diagrams, time-domain analysis, cross talk, bit error rate testing, jitter analysis, etc.Experience with RF/microwave test and measurement equipment such as digital sampling oscilloscopes, TDR modules, 4-port network analyzers, and bit error rate testers.Experience with microcontrollersExperience in software development process and test system developmentLean/six sigma yellow or green belt training.
Understanding and application of control charts, process capability, gage R&R;,
