Job Description Summary
To be responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites. Activities include preventive and remedial maintenance, managing maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Develop an operational yearly plan and suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures contributing to the unit plan.
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
- Lead day‑to‑day management, development, direction, scheduling and staffing of Field Service Engineers for installation and service activities across various turbomachinery.
- Promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with EHS & Quality policies and procedures.
- Manage FSE team, develop technical and managerial skills, coach, and align priorities with company strategy.
- Co‑operate with regional Planning / Resources Management, Finance teams to maximize resource utilization and manage budget costs.
- Coordinate with FS Regional Pool for balanced utilization respecting Working Time Regulation, fatigue management, and OT production.
- Analyze service demand (regional & integral) to maintain adequate FSE supply within the reference area or worldwide.
- Ensure on‑time FSE mobilization through cooperation with Regional Team, Assignment and Mobilization Specialist.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction by deploying qualified FSEs for complex and standard projects, collect feedback and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with team members,
P&Ls; and AE support personnel during pre‑job planning and post‑outage meetings.
- Support hiring process for interviewing, onboarding and ensuring resources meet commitments.
- Travel extensively for leadership visits and meetings with customer representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of service experience.
- Previous experience as Resource Manager or Field Service Manager within the Energy industry, preferably involving Field Service.
- Minimum 3 additional years managing field engineers.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Familiarity with common PC software tools.
- Knowledge of turbomachinery and compressors is a plus.
