**QUALITY ENGINEER**:
**IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY**:
Direct responsible for implementation of systems and controls necessary in the production process to ensure compliance of the product and process with customer requirements, participating in early stages of launch with direct responsibility in the realization and submission of PPAP to customers As well as the implementation of corrective actions at any stage of the process to correct nonconformities of the product, process or system.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Establish and maintain documented procedures of quality product.
Develop/Review/Update quality plans.
Identify and acquire any control, process, equipment (including inspection and testing equipment), accessories, resources, and skills necessary to meet the required quality.
Identify and prepare récords of quality products.
Preserve documentation of quality plans as directed in the procedure for record keeping data.




Define and establish measuring techniques and sampling plans.
Define and establish reaction plans when acceptance criteria are not fulfilled.
Identify and implement statistical methods of verification/validation where applicable or as directed by the quality plans.
Participate in the selection and evaluation of measuring equipment.
Document corrective and preventive actions according to documented procedures relating to handling of customer complaints.
Participate in activities related to the process of Advance Quality Planning according to the phases that indicate involvement.
Participate in activities related to IPPM reduction and implement corrective actions.
Comply and meet specific customer requirements.
Identify the need to use statistical techniques for process control.
Develop priorities for customer-related problems.
Perform updates as necessary, quality control, inspection and testing techniques, including the development of new instrumentation.
Define proper identification and verification at appropriate stages in the product realization.
Manage, record, and report all costs incurred in quality activities (Cost of Quality).
Assistant to certify and release tooling, inspection equipment and testing among others during production.
Comply with the quality system requirements.
Comply with the assignments of the quality management.
Efficiently supervise his staff.




Create a control plan with a summary of all critical and significant characteristics, listing of inspections to occur on the prototype part and incoming new materials.
Create pilot series control plan.
Summarize the necessary inspections for each production step.
Define the characteristics, inspection methods, frequency, type of the gauge, Responsibilities, and corrective actions.
Conduct equipment measurements (MSA) and record data in equipment database.
Develop and preserve documentation regarding the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP)
Creation of pilot series control plan.
Summarize the necessary inspections for each production step.
Define the characteristics, inspection methods, frequency, type of the gauge, Responsibilities, and corrective actions.
Review customer drawing significant/critical characteristics prior PPAP and update APQP documents.
Participate in the PPAP run.
Assistant to certify and release tooling prior PPAP run.
Create PPAP documentation according to customer requirements.
Submit PPAP parts and documentation to customers according to customer requirements.
Follow up PPAP approval from customer for serial production.
Participate in the physical inventories that are organized in the company
Take part and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System IATF *****, Take part and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System IATF *****, Environmental.
Management System - ISO ***** and Occupational Health, Safety Management System - ISO ***** and TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), corresponding to the position.
Prepare evidence of compliance and support audits.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
Degree in Engineering
3 to 5 years' experience in the automotive industry focusin
