RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for conducting mechanical and dimensional inspections of transformers in accordance with MIP and other required internal and external documentation.
- Responsible for monitoring process controls within the quality assurance area.
- Responsible for generating NMRs and/or rejection cards when a material or finished product, respectively, does not meet established specifications and maintaining communication with the teams responsible for resolving the rejection.
- Responsible for capturing and maintaining records of rejections, rework releases, and NMRs for their area through the internal HPS portals.
COMPETENCIES
- Requires knowledge of plant quality systems.
- Knowledge of winding, welding, assembly, and final testing.
- Knowledge and operation of measuring/metrology equipment.
- Ability to interpret drawings and the metric system.
- Computer skills (D365/Sharedpoints, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- At least one year of experience in the current position.
- At least one year of experience in a transformer environment (winding, welding, assembly, and final testing).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
