General purpose of the position

The Junior Accountant responsibilities include maintaining general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures and files, reconciling account balances and bank statements. Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all assigned accounting tasks.

Position tasks / Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, statements, and reports.

- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Collaborate with the finance team on financial analysis and budgeting activities.




- Provide support during financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

- Other miscellaneous tasks or special projects.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Fluent in English
- Microsoft Excel skills

- Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and co-workers.
