Responsibilities

- Insure that correct prices, quality for components are available for pre-production and first lot of mass production.
- Setup ERP system with correct purchasing data.
- Coordinate with Program management to solve customer related issues.
- Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions for the supply base
- Identify and qualify new sources.
- Responsible for setup material/tooling for new prototype projects

Qualifications

- Strategic purchasing or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in sourcing especially for Electronic, Mechanical, PCB and Plastic in electronics industry, preferably contract manufacturing.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.




- Possess strong ability to locate, quality, and develop sources of supply. Must be able to work with suppliers to continually improve quality, cost, delivery while reducing lead-time.
- Highly detail oriented and organized, having a sense of urgency and good follow-through.
- Good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply which ensure prices are consistent with quality requirements.
- MRP system skills and knowledge required.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills.
- Good command in English.
