Summary: Provide interpreting services via VRI-Video Remote Interpreting to our customers and their clients all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

- Provide effective video remote interpreting service for clients
- Professional and courteous behavior
- Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service
- Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience
- Spoken Language Qualifications: Fluent with strong verbal communication skills in English and Mixteco
- Must have at least 2-5 years of interpreting experience
- Credentialed in medical interpreting preferred
- Respect for and understanding of our Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, culture,



dialect and beliefs and preferences as it relates to legal/medical care

Technology & Language requirements

- VRI Technology Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 updated to the latest version and updates enabled for OS and Microsoft products
- A good quality USB headset with noise-canceling microphone
- A stable Ethernet connection directly to the modem
- Spoken Language Qualifications: English and Mixteco
