Descripción y detalle de las actividades
Develop and maintain detailed product cost breakdowns for apparel styles, including fabrics, trims, labor, freight, duties, and overhead.
Timely and accurate cost sheet completion according to the development calendar,
Collaborate with Product Development and Design teams to review tech packs and ensure accuracy of cost inputs.
Analyze vendor quotations, validate costing assumptions, and support price negotiations.
Partner with Sourcing and Production teams to identify opportunities to reduce cost through fabric utilization, yield optimization, and process efficiency.
Track and update cost libraries for raw materials, trims, and labor rates across regions and vendors.
Conduct margin impact analysis to support pricing strategies and profitability targets.
Provide cost scenarios and sensitivity analyses during product development and seasonal line planning.
Maintain documentation and reporting for cost comparisons, variance analysis, and vendor performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline costing processes and improve data accuracy.
Collaborate with Planning and Supply chain related department to accomplish KPI's On-Time Performance, Buy
Acceptance Rates, and support Quality, CSR, and other relevant Brand needs.
Experiência y requisitos




Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile/Apparel Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
2+ years of experience in apparel costing, garment engineering, or product development.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing operations, materials, trims, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); ERP or PLM system experience preferred.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and consumption/yield calculations.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, especially for vendor communication in nearshore regions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
