**Intermodal Executive**

**Job Purpose**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate intermodal transport services according to requests received, selecting the best transportation mode and contracted route, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and pricing agreements defined by the Pricing/Procurement department.
- Prepare instruction and dispatch sheets to be sent to service providers, ensuring all customer requirements and the most competitive service rate are included in accordance with Procurement guidelines.
- Generate the necessary documents to complete assigned transport movements (e.g., cargo documentation for rail operators, appointment scheduling with port terminals, etc.).
- Manage and assign intermodal transportation capacity offered by service providers, following priority groups defined by the Procurement department.
- Monitor shipment locations through designated platforms and reports, ensuring visibility for customers and compliance by providers in sharing timely and accurate information.
- Resolve incidents and service deviations by coordinating communication with carriers, rail operators, container depots, intermodal and port terminals, customs brokers, and all stakeholders involved in service execution.
- Clarify discrepancies in rates and additional charges, ensuring accurate data entry in internal systems and proper communication with customers, commercial and finance teams, and service providers.
- Communicate the status of intermodal movements and service deviations to internal and external customers in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction through proactive updates and shipment tracking.
- Propose strategies to provide quick and effective solutions to internal and external customer needs.
- Update information systems, databases, and reports as requested by Team Leaders, Management, and Directors within the established deadlines.
- Monitor compliance with departmental KPIs and objectives defined in coordination with Management and direct leadership.
- Finalize shipment files by collecting all necessary documentation for each coordinated movement.
- Send accurate and timely information to providers to ensure services are invoiced promptly.

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Transportation Engineering, or Logistics.
**Skills / Experience / Knowledge**
- Minimum of two years of experience in logistics.
- Decision-making skills.
- Experience in monitoring and supervising operational processes.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- English: Intermediate level - spoken and written.
