Grounded in Duty of Care standards and best practice, the Travel Risk Coordinator (TRC) - LATAM region enables business travel, builds a positive security culture, and delivers proactive risk mitigation solutions for Amazonians traveling for work.
The role spans the full travel lifecycle: pre-trip risk assessment and briefings, real-time monitoring and incident response during travel, and post-trip documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement.The right candidate will be calm under pressure, empathetic with travelers in stressful situations, and comfortable making high-impact decisions independently.
This is a role for someone who can balance operational traveler assistance needs and contribute to global strategic projects.Key job responsibilitiesServe as a subject matter specialist in medical and security risks to travelers in the LATAM regionIdentify high-risk travel bookings and proactively engage travelers with mitigation guidanceCoordinate secure ground transportation requests and vendor managementManage traveler medical and security incidents from escalation through resolutionSupport Crisis Management Team activationsMaintain country/city advisories, hotel guidance, and pre-trip messagingComplete After-Action Reviews, hotel assessments, and vendor auditsTrack and report operational metrics aligned to the ISO ***** Travel Risk Management StandardSupport TRM strategic programs as requiredA day in the lifeCoordinate secure ground transportation with vetted in-country vendors and update real-time monitoring dashboardsTriage medical or security incident escalations connect travelers with local support, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and manage cases through resolutionUpdate country/city advisories based on new intelligence and maintain pre-trip messaging contentComplete After-Action Reviews from recent incidents and pull metrics for ISO ***** compliance reportingContribute to strategic projects refining SOPs, piloting automation workflows, or supporting vendor auditsServe as the connective tissue between travelers in the field and the broader TRM program,

Grounded in Duty of Care principles and aligned to the ISO ***** Travel Risk Management Standard, TRM delivers end-to-end risk mitigation from pre-trip intelligence and traveler briefings through real-time monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
