- In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining VMware vSphere environments, building & decommission servers, and resolving server-related queries.
The role involves supporting IT infrastructure on vCenter vSphere and ESXi Hypervisors 6.5, 7.0, and 8.0, and working proactively on ticketing tool requests._
- Responsibilities_
- _Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server._
- _Perform regular updates and patches to VMware infrastructure._
- _Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of virtual environments._
- _Administer and support Windows and Linux servers within the virtual environment._
- _Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services._
- _Implement and manage storage solutions, including SAN and NAS_
- _Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards._
- _Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments._
- _Manage user access and permissions within the virtual environment._
- _Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans._
- _Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures._
- _Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures_
- _Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues related to VMware infrastructure._
- _Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures._
- _Lead and participate in IT projects related to virtualization and infrastructure improvements._
- _Install, configure, and manage VMware vRealize Automation environments._
- _Develop and maintain automation workflows using vRA and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).

- Minimum Qualifications / Skills_
- _Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field._
- _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Server Hardware - Dell/HP/Cisco UCS_
- _Monitoring Tools - Skyline, vROps, SolarWinds_
- _Automation - PowerShell, vRealize Automation_
- _Ticketing Tools - ServiceNow_
- _Good communication skills_
- _Outstanding troubleshooting skills_
