**Play your part in our team success**:
The purpose of this position is to secure Import & Export shipments for projects and IMMEX assets on time delivery in compliance with applicable regulations & The LEGO Group Policies, and to secure proper IMMEX assets controls that allows successful audits before Customs on IMMEX Assets through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, functional knowledge, adherence to processes and internal process confirmations with the aim of supporting The LEGO Group strategic production footprint and long term customs compliance and Brand Protection.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Manage import and export operations with Customs Brokers, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely execution.
- Coordinate daily transport operations from shipping to receiving, adhering to agreed INCOTERM and securing timely deliveries.
- Ensure IMMEX asset controls through established processes that align with Customs Regulations and support audits.
- Maintain updated systems and tools for accurate information transfer to Mexican Customs and Customs Brokers, ensuring compliance and brand protection.
- Keep user guides and SOPs current through continuous alignment and updates to meet compliance standards (e.g., AEO, IMMEX).
- Collaborate effectively with Customs Brokers, Transportation companies,



and internal teams (e.g., Project Managers, Procurement) for daily operations and new setups.
- Identify and mitigate risks daily, raising issues to the Import or Export Manager as needed.
- Maintain IMS compliance by ensuring consistency in processes and embedding LCI practices into daily operations.
- Serve as a backup for other departmental positions to ensure operational continuity.
**Do you have what it takes?
**:
- Strong experience in integral Imports/Exports with multinational companies or working with international teams, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, specialization in foreign trade, customs, or equivalent is desirable.
- Import of machinery and equipment, mainly from overseas
- Goal oriented, resilient and strategic planner
- Advanced communication skills both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish, and comfortable in communicating complex ideas
