About the School
San Roberto International School is a pre‐Kindergarten to Grade 9 international IB day school located in Monterrey, Mexico.
The school operates two campuses – San Agustin and Valle Alto – and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
All instruction is delivered bilingually in Spanish and English to children aged 3 to 15.
Position
Elementary Homeroom Teacher (School: San Roberto International School, Company: Nord Anglia Education)
Responsibilities
Plan, design and deliver instructional strategies and methods across Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, Art and Social Studies in line with curriculum objectives.
Organize learning resources and activities to enrich the teaching/learning process.
Evaluate, monitor, record and report student progress, providing students and parents with appropriate feedback.
Develop professionally through the Professional Growth Plan process.
Contribute to and embody San Roberto's mission and beliefs, including safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Skills: Planning, organizational and classroom management, leadership and initiative.
Knowledge:



Content expertise recognized by certification in Elementary Level Language Arts, Math, General Earth Science, Health and Social Studies; pedagogic knowledge recognized by certification in Elementary Level teaching strategies and classroom management.
Experience: Minimum of two years teaching experience.
Education: BA in Education and/or Teacher Certification.
Requirements
